WHO WE ARE
The Garnet Valley Democratic Committee is a registered political organization with an active and dynamic presence for Democratic political action within the Garnet Valley Community. We serve as the local municipal committee for Concord & Chester Heights.
WHAT WE DO
- Identify, recruit, train, and support candidates running for local municipal government, school board, and magisterial justices.
- Provide voter education and resources.
- Attend local government meetings and ensure accountability.
- Support Democratic candidates for county, state, and federal elected positions.
- Organize Election Day poll staffing.
- Keep our democratic community informed through our website, social media, and candidate forums.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to create a robust Democratic movement in Concord and Chester Heights - a movement that brings together neighbors to elect Democrats who share in our core values of gender and racial equity, equal access to education, open space preservation, land development accountability, senior citizen advocacy, and transparency in government.
