Jeanne has long been passionate about serving her community—first in Haverford Township and, since 2019, in Chester Heights, where she lives in Darlington Woods. Elected to Borough Council in 2024, she brings a collaborative spirit and deep commitment to civic engagement. With degrees in Business Management and Organizational Development & Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University, Jeanne built a career at Verizon, Saint Joseph’s University, and Edward Jones while raising five children. Now retired, she serves as Chair of the Community Engagement Committee, where she has expanded Borough activities and tripled communication reach through bi-weekly e-newsletters. Jeanne is dedicated to solving problems and bringing people together to keep Chester Heights a place we are all proud to call home.
Jonathan is a practicing attorney with over five years of experience in complex securities litigation and eDiscovery. He holds a J.D. from Widener University and a bachelor’s degree in History from Gettysburg College. Jonathan serves on the Chester Heights Zoning Hearing Board, where he is committed to fair development practices and inclusive decision-making that reflects the values of the community. With a deep understanding of the legal process and a thoughtful approach to governance, he is dedicated to supporting balanced growth and transparency in local decision-making.
Sangeetha is the Weatherization Office Manager at a nonprofit, where she supports families through housing and energy efficiency programs. With over four years of experience in housing and energy support services and a background as a preschool teacher and daycare coordinator, Sangeetha brings both compassion and practical expertise to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on accounting and business administration, and is certified in Database Administration and Agile Methodology. A married mother of two, Sangeetha is passionate about inclusive services and building stronger communities through hands-on engagement. She is running for Borough Council to ensure every resident has a voice and access to the resources they need to thrive.
Jeff is a former Chester Heights Borough Council Member (2016–2017) with over 20 years of experience in museum and nonprofit education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History and German Studies and brings a deep appreciation for both community heritage and forward-thinking development. A married father of one, Jeff is committed to thoughtful growth and historic preservation, believing that collaborative, community-centered leadership is key to shaping a vibrant and inclusive future for Chester Heights.
Marta currently serves as Council President for Chester Heights (2024–2025) and previously served as a Council Member from 2016 to 2017. A Certified Borough Official and longtime administrative member of the local fire company, she brings over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and grants management to her public service. Marta holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration. A married mother of four, she is deeply committed to responsive, transparent, and fiscally responsible leadership that reflects the priorities and values of the Chester Heights community.
